Laura Clampitt graduated from Smith College in May 2013 with a BA in Government. Currently, she resides in New Haven, CT where she works at a law firm. While at Smith, her loves included the equestrian team, Albright House, and Northampton. The many bike trails of Northampton allowed her to explore more of the Pioneer Valley than just her own two feet would allow-- from Look Park to Easthampton and more! Smith is still a big part of her life, as she shows with the equestrian team as part of the alumnae division, and makes regular visits to Albright House. In order to thank her alma mater, and make way for new Smithies, Laura bikes for Smith.

Liz graduated from Smith in January of 2013 with a BA in Environmental Science & Policy. Outside of class she could be found doing improv with SIKOS (Smith Improv Komedy of Smith) or generally causing trouble, in the best house on campus: Talbot. After college, she pursued her passion for sustainability and design to find her current position at a regional planning agency in Bristol, CT. Smith gave her the opportunity to explore new things and make wonderful friends. In an effort to give back to the school that has given her so much, Liz bikes for Smith.

Bike for Smith was created by Liz Esposito (‘13J) and Laura Clampitt (‘13) to give Smith alums of all class years a new and exciting way to support their alma mater. On Friday May 16th, participants will start in Farmington, CT and ride nearly 50 miles to Northampton in order to march in the Ivy Day parade the following day.
